RYA Level 2 POWER BOAT COURSE

18/19th March 2023

This 2 day course covers all the elements of safe, high and low speed boat handling, coming alongside, securing to a buoy, anchoring, man overboard, basic navigational theory, tides and weather, safety equipment, maintenance checks and types of craft. This is the minimum acceptable level for being allowed to drive club boats. No experience required. This is a requirement for any aspiring Dinghy instructors.

POWERBOAT REFRESHER AND RESCUE COURSE

Dates: Sat 1st April or Sat 15th April or Sat 29th April

A one day club course to refamiliarise powerboat drivers to club procedures and general boat driving followed by some rescue skills as required at DBSC. Free to club members.
