SEPA confirms Dalgety Bay remediation work is complete
Scotland's environment regulator has confirmed that work to remove radioactive particles from the foreshore at Dalgety Bay and prevent future contamination has been completed. The Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) are satisfied that the remediation work carried out by the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) and its contractor Balfour Beatty, alongside future monitoring plans and agreed maintenance of rock armour by Fife Council, means the public will be able to enjoy access again for

RS Aero Training Weekend
With the event taking some months to plan and fully booked with 20 intrepid RS Aero sailors from around Scotland and the North of England, the event went ahead very successfully. Brass Monkey 2023
Twenty boats entered the Brass Monkey races on Saturday 25 March, and they were rewarded with a reasonably steady and building breeze from the East. Dalgety Bay Sailing Club Regatta 2022

DBSC Youth Week
DBSC Youth Week is going to go ahead on 2nd 6th August at Longcraig Scout Centre in South Queensferry. Overall numbers and the number of groups will be limited due to Covid restrictions. Dalgety Bay Sailing Club is 50 years old!
Fifty years ago last month, Dalgety Bay Sailing Club was officially "opened" by Miss C. M. McLauchlan, the then Aberdour and Dalgety Bay District councillor. In fact, the club had been formed by way of an informal gathering organised by some local enthusiasts including Beattie Burnside, Alastair Burnside, Stewart Cameron, Stuart Black, and Brian Otway in 1971.
